Willem Mengelberg – The Essential Recordings Remastered

10 downloads In 2011 the passionate music enthusiast and audio remastering specialist Hans van Ispelen, started remastering Willem Mengelberg’s recorded legacy. Regrettably, Van Ispelen (born in 1947) passed away on February 4, 2014. This interrupted his project, since it had been his ambition to complete even more recordings. The WMS is very proud to offer these restaurations as uncompressed, lossless downloads for a friendly price. The first series presents a number of Mengelberg’s Beethoven recordings. Through the samples available on the download-website you can get a fair idea of the results of the remastering.
